Campus Orientation
There will be organized transportation to the Arava Institute that will leave from Tel Aviv on the first day of the semester. It will leave Tel Aviv at 10:30 AM on the first day of the semester — students are asked to arrive the night before or early in the morning on the first day of the semester.
Arava Institute programming will end by 1:00 PM on the last day of the semester.
The semester begins with a multi-day orientation which is mandatory for all students and interns. During these first few days of semester participants will take part in an orientation program designed to introduce them to one another, to the program and to the kibbutz and local region. The program will include ice breakers and activities in which they get to know one another, a tour of the Arava Institute and research sites, along with regional activities and a trip.
The schedule will vary semester-to-semester, but a sample schedule is provided below.
