A central mission of the Arava Institute is to educate a new generation of environmental leaders that will cooperatively meet the region’s environmental challenges with richer and more innovative, peace-building solutions. To that end, the Arava Institute's leadership initiatives propel its students and alumni from the class into the community, where they hone their leadership skills and affect the communities they live in.
