Baraa Aslih is a Palestinian. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and is currently completing his Master’s degree in Social Psychology at Tel Aviv University.
Baraa has been politically active from a young age, but it wasn’t until his time at university that he started to approach “the other” (Israeli side) in different ways in his activism. In addition to co-facilitating the Peace-building Leadership Seminar at the Arava Institute since 2016, he has worked as a conflict group facilitator at Neve Shalom – Oasis of Peace – Wahat al-Salam, and is currently also active as an instructor on topics of gender, adolescence and sexual harassment at the Palestinian NGO Al-Siwar.
