We recognize the important role that alumni play in recommending the Arava Institute to prospective students and interns. Prospective participants who first hear about our programs from alumni like you apply at the highest rates and are most likely among all our applicants to enroll on a program at the Arava Institute. By referring program participants to our admissions team, you help shape the student body at the Institute and at future alumni conferences around the world.
The North American Arava Alumni Referral Program (NAAARP) recognizes alumni who take the time to refer North American students to the Institute. Here is how it works:
- You recommend the academic or internship program at the Arava Institute to a prospective student or intern from the United States, Canada, or Mexico. (You don’t need to be from North America to refer North American students!)
- They apply between today and February 20, 2019, indicating on their application that they heard about the program from you.
- If the student or intern is accepted and enrolls in a program at the Arava Institute, we’ll send you a referral bonus of $50.
Any alumnus who successfully refers 3 or more North American students or interns to the Arava Institute before February 20, 2019 will be automatically entered into a raffle to win a free trip to the AAPEN Conference in the Middle East next spring.
