József Kádár

Project Manager, Applied Environmental Diplomacy

József Kádár specializes in the Water–Energy–Food–Ecosystem (WEFE) nexus, people-centred energy transitions, Positive Energy Districts (PED), cross-border energy cooperation, energy security, and resilient energy systems. His work focuses on the social and technological dimensions of the energy transition, including energy poverty, community energy, and citizen engagement.
 
He holds an MSc in Environmental Science from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary, and an MBA in Sustainability from the University of Haifa, where he also completed his PhD in energy transition and social innovation.
 
His work bridges research, policy, and community-level practice to support inclusive and resilient energy transitions.
