FAI Trustee Rides In Support of Interfaith Center

This past Sunday, June 15th, Friends of the Arava Institute Trustee and Israel Ride alumni, Jon Harris Shapiro participated in the 2nd annual Ride for Understanding. The group of 30, rode 30 miles on the scenic Schuykill River Trail to celebrate the religious diversity of the community and support the programs of the Interfaith Center of Greater Philadelphia. Collectively, the ridership raised nearly $25,000 from over 300 of their friends, family, and associates. Sponsorships continue to come in and the group hopes to reach $30,000 before they close the campaign in honor of the Interfaith Center’s 10th anniversary. Congratulations Jon!
