Research Coordinator, Center for Climate Change Policy and Research
Michelle Cohen holds an MSc in Agroforestry and Food Security from Bangor University, Wales, UK, and a BSc in Biology and Comparative Literature from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is passionate about agroforestry, urban forestry, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and international development. She has worked on projects in East Africa, including research in Kenya with CGIAR Research Center CIFOR-ICRAF, on agricultural adaptations to climate change and promoting gender equality on smallholder farms.
As Research Coordinator at the Center for Climate Change Policy and Research, she is working on environmental and social aspects of climate change adaptation and mitigation in the MENA region. This work focuses on building cross-border collaborations for climate solutions, to create a more equitable future.
