Some organizations, including members of the Jewish Federations of North America, offer scholarships for local students or residents of their area who are interested in Israel work or study. The list below is an incomplete list of possible scholarship offerings; please contact your local Jewish Federation if you do not see your state listed below.
We also recommend contacting the local office of The Rotary Foundation in your home or college town.

Jewish Federation of Arkansas: Scholarships for young adults in Arkansas may be available through the Thalheimer Israel Scholarship Fund.

Jewish Federation of Ottawa: The federation offers grants for students from Ottawa who are looking to study in Israel.

Jewish Foundation of Manitoba: The Jewish Foundation of Manitoba offers scholarships for students studying in Israel. Applicants must be residents of Manitoba. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $5,000. Students must apply online and the application period opens mid-December and closes March 31 of any given year. Scholarships are based on financial need, academics and community/volunteer service.

Young Women’s Scholarship Fund: Jewish women between the ages of 21 and 45 who are Colorado residents may be eligible for scholarships through this fund at JewishColorado.

Greater Miami Jewish Federation: Miami-Dade County residents or students between the ages of 15 and 26 are eligible for scholarships.

The federation covered area reaches as far south as Catskill, as far north as Lake George and Glens Falls, as far west as Schenectady, and as far east as Troy.

Jewish Federation of Greater Chattanooga: Scholarships may be available for individuals from the Chattanooga area participating in organized trips or specific educational opportunities to travel or study in Israel.

Memphis Jewish Federation: Young adults living in Memphis (age 18-26) may be eligible for up to $4000 in grant funding. The grants are not need-based and any young adult in the Memphis Jewish community is eligible for the funding.
