Join Co-Chairs, Karen Schapiro, Frank Chudnow, Amy Goldman, Michael Marcus, Howie Rodenstein and Steve Sanderson, as we honor our CEO, Miriam May, for her immeasurable impact on the environmental peacebuilding work of The Arava Institute for Environmental Studies.

This event will honor Miriam’s leadership, as well as her legacy, with the establishment of the Miriam May Fund for the Future.  While this is a painful and unsettling time in Israel, it’s imperative that we look towards the future…and what happens the day after this war ends. That is when the cross-border, environmental diplomacy work of the Arava Institute will be more critical than ever. This fund will be the living legacy to Miriam’s success in growing the Institute’s impact in Israel – and the region.

The Miriam May Fund for the Future will encompass the future sustainability of the Arava Institute through special initiatives and the growth, including the expansion of our campus with the new dormitory and education buildings, scheduled to break-ground this coming Spring.

Help us reach our goal of raising $500,000 to create this meaningful commemoration, which will recognize Miriam’s commitment to ensuring Arava Institute’s pivotal work in the wake of this war. In supporting the Miriam May Fund for the Future, you will be helping to achieve her vision of environmental peacebuilding in Israel and beyond.

For those who are attending, you can reserve a room at the AC Hotel Boston Cleveland Circle, Chestnut Hill, MA at 617-730-3660 or click here to book online.
