We recently welcomed back into our offices Shimri Negbi who was a Program Associate at the Arava Institute in Fall 2014. Shimri will be taking over from Gili Brenner as the Middle East Outreach and Communication Associate, thus continuing the relentless efforts for student recruitment in the Middle East.
Shimri is orginially from Jerusalem and currently lives in Tel Aviv. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics and Governments and Middle Eastern Studies from Ben Gurion University, and has stayed connected to the Institute in the past year as a Student Ambassador of the recruitment department.
Shimri is exited to return to the Arava Institute full time, and is especially looking forward to participating in our constant efforts to reach new potential students, supporters and partners in the Middle East. He hopes to build more cooperations with different organizations and expand the outreach to Israeli, Palestinian and Jordanian students and interns.
