Last month, Arava Institute alumni from across the world, spanning cohorts from 1997 to 2024, came together for our 2025 Alumni Conference.
In a year marked by political and emotional complexity, the conference offered something rare and deeply needed: a shared space for listening, healing, and rebuilding the cross-border relationships that sit at the heart of the Arava Institute experience.
Over three days of workshops, dialogue circles, movement sessions, and communal moments, alumni described feeling “seen”, “supported”, and “part of a family”. With 95 alumni representing 10 nationalities, the conference reaffirmed the strength, resilience, and long-term impact of this community. Many called it “the best conference yet” and shared that it helped restore a sense of hope and belonging that had been missing.
This gathering was more than a reunion, it was a renewal of shared values, relationships, and commitment to connecting across borders. We’re deeply grateful to our alumni, facilitators, staff, volunteers, and supporters who made this powerful weekend possible.
