End of Fall 2025 semester

At the end of December, we said goodbye to the participants of the Fall 2025 semester. Over the past months, students and interns from around the world have engaged deeply with environmental challenges through hands-on fieldwork, collaborative research, and lively classroom discussions, all while living together on our unique campus in the Arava desert.

The final weeks brought long days of studying for final exams, project work, reflective summary sessions, and celebrations of the special community built throughout the semester. “For the last few years, all of us have been through the unimaginable. So coming here really was like a drop of light in a very dark, scary ocean,” said student Roni Shichor during her graduation speech. “I want to use this opportunity to invite all of us to look inside, see these changes, see these new missions that we gained from here, see this knowledge, and ask: Where do we take it from here? What do we do in the future to make sure it’s a better place?”

As everyone prepares to take their next steps, they carry with them not only new knowledge, but a renewed commitment to environmental leadership and cross-cultural cooperation. We wish this fresh group of alumni the best of luck in their future endeavors.
