The Arava Institute condemns the violation of the ceasefire agreement. We are heartbroken about the continued endangering of lives of Gazan civilians and the hostages still in Gaza, and the ongoing threat this poses to Palestinians and Israelis, as well as the environment we all share.
During the ceasefire we were able to widen our networks and build new partnerships across the MENA region, reaffirming stakeholders’ commitment to transboundary environmental cooperation in the aftermath of war.
We are calling for an immediate end to this war, a return of all hostages, and for a peaceful sustainable future for all people of the region.
