“Running out of Time” – is an international project and relay race, during which thousands of people will run, ride, and sail from Glasgow to Egypt with the aim of raising awareness of the climate crisis and the need to act urgently, in preparation for the UN Climate Conference – COP 27. The race will last 38 days, with the participation of 18 countries, along 7,767 km.
The race in Israel starts from Rosh Hanikra in the north, on election day, 1.11.22, and will move south through Eilat to Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt. The race will run past us on the Arava Road, including a stop at the Arava Institute at night between the 3rd and 4th of November.
