British Council grant for Center for Transboundary Water Management

The Arava Institute’s Center for Transboundary Water Management (CTWM) has recently been awarded a grant from the British Council. The funding was received for a project on off-grid integrated water and energy systems for potable and non-potable water in Israel, Palestine and Jordan, and will enable CTWM to continue the installation of solar powered water treatment plants in Israel, the West Bank and Jordan over the course of the next 12 months. The project will be carried out in cooperation with Cranfield University (UK), a world leader in water and energy science; additional partners are iGreens (Jordan) and the Palestinian Wastewater Engineers Group (Palestine).
